Thales Graduate Scheme Overview

Thales receives over 3,500 applications to their graduate scheme every year, with only around 130 places open.  Most of Thales’ graduate schemes consist of four six-month placements, with plenty of scope for international travel during this time.

Given the low ratio of jobs to applicants, Thales can well afford to be choosy in their selection process.  Candidates will need to have a high level of technical knowledge and an excellent academic record.  While 2:1’s are accepted, Thales does look to recruit from the highest quality universities.

For those still studying, a Thales internship can be an excellent opportunity to learn the ropes before joining a year later.

Thales Graduate Scheme Interview Tips

Be honest. There will be a lot of technical information, and you will not be expected to know it all. If you are unsure on anything, ask one of the facilitators for an explanation.

Have original ideas. Thales’ recruitment process will test your creative mind at every stage. They will welcome fresh and new initiatives, no matter how wacky and wild they may seem at first.
