M&C Saatchi Graduate Scheme Overview

In order to be eligible for the M&C Saatchi graduate programme, candidates need to have attained at least a 2:1 at degree level.  Although marketing and related degree disciplines are preferred, high quality candidates will always be considered, regardless of their qualification.

The M&C graduate career path is fairly straightforward, with candidates first being placed into a ten-week training program, which, while intense, will get all new employees fully up to speed with how the business works.

Following completion of initial training, graduates are placed into account handling roles at first, being placed with an experienced “buddy” so they can continue learning on the job.

M&C Saatchi Graduate Scheme Interview Tips

Learn to shine. A global brand such as Saatchi receives many applicants, yet will only recruit around ten graduates each year. Make sure you can stand out and earn yourself one of these coveted placements.

Know the business’ history. Do not confuse the firm with Saatchi & Saatchi; understand the history about how this business started, as well as how and why the operation is so different.

M&C Saatchi Overview

M&C Saatchi was formed in 1995, after Maurice and Charles Saatchi were ousted from the Saatchi & Saatchi company they had formed in 1970. Within a month, a number of directors as well as high-profile clients also defected from Saatchi & Saatchi.

The business prides itself on doing this differently from industry and business status quo’s, with a strong ethos to work to an objective of “Brutal Simplicity of Thought.” Although the business only has 26 offices around the world, this is a conscious decision made by Maurice and Charles, with the aim to have as few as is necessary to meet their global objectives, rather than open as many as they possibly can.

M&C Saatchi Locations

M&C Saatchi’s global headquarters is situated in Soho, London.

Among their other 25 global offices, the most prominent are situated in New York City, Sydney, and Geneva.
