Baker Tilly Graduate Scheme Overview

To apply for a place on the Baker Tilly Graduate Scheme, it is not a necessity for candidates to hold a financially related degree.  They must however hold at least a 2:1 result and have a strong set of results at A Level.

Baker Tilly recruit through an “Assessment Day” format, comprising of individual competency tests as well as group exercises.  Should candidates succeed at this stage, they are invited for a final interview day where a further assessment will take place.

Successful candidates are then offered a place on the Baker Tilly Graduate Scheme.  The scheme is a three year program after which time graduates will be qualified accountants.  Highly competent candidates can progress from this stage to Partner level in a timeframe of only two to three years.

Strike a good balance at the group assessment day. Being able to identify opportunities to lead the group, and when to step back and allow someone else a turn, is a valuable attribute highly valued by leading organisations.
